All turkeys are pasture raised by Yundwell Farm in Canaan, NY run by Mike Yund and Michelle Maxwell, along with their livestock guardian dogs Esther and Roscoe, the true cornerstone of the farm operation. They are Maremmas, an Italian dog breed that has been bred to live outdoors in the elements and protect sheep. They live outdoors with their flocks of birds full time protecting them from aerial and land predators. Without the dogs on alert in the pasture, the birds could not roam about freely as they do.

The farm currently raises around 2,000 broilers (meat birds), 250 hens for eggs and 100 turkey per season.

You can find their pastured chicken and fresh eggs in our farm store year-round!

Their turkeys have been raised on pasture and fed certified organic grain from Stone House Farm in Livingston, NY.

Sizing choice is first come first serve. If you are set on a certain weight/price point PLEASE pickup early, we cannot hold a specific turkey for you.

Price per pound is $9. Final price is determined by final weight, minus deposit.

Birds will be picked up fresh.

Tuesday 11/25, 10am-6pm

Wednesday 11/26, 10am-6pm
